Endourology refers to the use of small instruments inserted through the urethra or small incisions for diagnosing and treating urological issues, often eliminating the need for large surgical cuts. Whether you are dealing with kidney stones, prostate enlargement, or urethral strictures, our team provides high-quality care to manage your condition effectively.

Endourology Treatments We Offer

01
Kidney Stones (Renal Calculi) Treatments
Kidney stones are one of the most common urological conditions. They form when minerals and salts crystallize in the kidneys, causing pain and obstruction. We offer a variety of state-of-the-art treatments to break down and remove kidney stones:

✔ RIRS (Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery)
A minimally invasive technique used for stones in the kidney.
A small fiber-optic scope is passed through the urethra and bladder to reach the kidneys, allowing precise stone removal or fragmentation.
Advantages: Quick recovery, no incision, minimal scarring.

✔ PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy)
For larger kidney stones, this method involves making a small incision in the back to remove stones.
Indications: When stones are too large for less invasive treatments.

✔ ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy)
A non-invasive procedure that uses shock waves to break down stones into smaller pieces.
Indications: Smaller kidney stones.
02
Ureteral Stones Treatment
When stones form in the ureter (the tube that connects the kidney to the bladder), they can cause intense pain and blockage. We use minimally invasive procedures to break down the stones:
✔ URSL (Ureterorenoscopic Lithotripsy)
A small ureteroscope is inserted into the ureter through the bladder to break up stones.
Benefits: No need for external incisions, fast recovery.

✔ RIRS (Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery)
Also effective for ureteral stones if they are located closer to the kidneys.
03
Bladder Stones Treatment
Bladder stones form in the bladder when urine remains stagnant and becomes concentrated. We offer the following treatments to eliminate stones in the bladder:
✔ Cystolithotripsy
A small instrument is used to break up bladder stones into smaller fragments, which are then removed.
Advantages: Minimally invasive, quick recovery.
04
Stones in Pregnancy
Pregnant women can develop kidney stones, which may affect both the mother and the unborn baby. We offer safe and effective stone treatments during pregnancy, ensuring the well-being of both mother and child:
Non-invasive treatment options, such as ESWL, are considered after evaluating the pregnancy stage.
For larger stones, minimally invasive surgery may be recommended under careful supervision.
05
Laser Stone Surgery
Laser treatment is an advanced option for breaking down stones in the kidney, ureter, bladder, and urethra. This technique uses high-energy laser beams to fragment stones into smaller, passable pieces.
Laser Lithotripsy is ideal for hard-to-reach stones and when other methods like shockwave lithotripsy are ineffective.
06
Stricture Urethra Treatments
A urethral stricture is a narrowing of the urethra, often caused by scarring, infection, or trauma. We offer effective treatment options to restore normal urination:
✔ OIU (Optical Internal Urethrotomy)
A procedure where the scar tissue is cut using a small surgical instrument passed through the urethra.
✔ Urethroplasty
A surgical technique for severe strictures, where a section of the urethra is repaired or replaced.
07
Prostate Treatments
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a common condition in men where the prostate enlarges, leading to urinary problems. We provide the following endourological treatments for prostate conditions:
✔ TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate)
A common and effective method for removing prostate tissue to relieve urinary obstruction.
✔ Laser TURP (HOLEP, THULEP)
Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HOLEP) and Thulium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (THULEP) are advanced laser treatments used for BPH with faster recovery and minimal bleeding.
✔ Prostatic Stents & REZUM
Prostatic stents are placed in the urethra to help relieve obstruction.
REZUM uses water vapour to treat BPH by targeting excess prostate tissue.
